Growing Technology in the Agricultural World: CSS Pulls Ahead in the Race for Sustainability

Agriculture technology is a growing field and the Forbes Ag-Tech Summit aimed to discover the entrepreneurial companies that were at the forefront of it. Unique in their processing techniques, CSS, lead the sustainability charge with their liquid fertilizer made from unsold grocery store food. Forbes, SVG and Thrive Accelerator joined together to create “a selective mentorship and investment program for technology-enabled startups working specifically in precision agriculture,” and CSS fit the mold with their new-age, ag-based technology. By discovering novel ag-based technologies, these companies are making agricultural production more efficient and less polluting.
