CSS Featured on NPR Monterey Bay

February 27, 2015

Dan Morash discussed the Thrive Accelerator program and CSS's solution to food waste on NPR for the Monterey Bay Area and what it is providing for supermarkets and growers. CSS is one of 10 startups selected for the Thrive Accelerator program, and if selected, the Thrive Accelerator Program offers them what they need—exposure to growers in Salinas. Salinas is ideal for CSS because of the food scraps created in agriculture and for the growers who could use the fertilizer. The winners of the Thrive Accelerator program will be announced in July with ”a chance to pitch investors for up to $5-million in funding.“
